This book explains all of the gender concepts in a way that is easy enough for a newbie to understand, but comprehensive enough for an expert to learn something. I recommend this to everyone, since knowledge about gender is important and will only become more important as time goes by.

Great for this novice ally to better understand the issues that trans* folk have to deal with. Passion and humor woven into this serious subject. Very readable yet challenging. Beautifully written. Have only read a couple of chapters. Lots more to digest and internalize so that I can be an effective ally.

Excellent book. Well written and easy to follow. Very relaxed explanation of a confusing subject for many people. Must read for those desiring to learn more about gender expression and identity.

I bought this book to help me understand a friend, and it worked. It includes exercises to help you understand yourself before understanding others, which I thought was a good approach. I haven't read the whole book yet, just the parts that interested me.

Have not read the entire book yet, however, am learning a lot that I was not aware of. I am looking forward to finishing the book and sharing with others.

This is a great book. Really well written and keeps the reader engaged. Great work Sam Killermann!
