Excellent Series.I read all four of these stories and I am going back for more. Each story had strong characters with one exception - although that one worked out in the end just as it should. Everyone likes romance novels that center around the rich and this was a classic with a twist.We don't have "Cinderella" stories. We have two wealthy characters meeting, overcoming the problems, and having the happy ending. Our baseball players become "mucho" rich, but their futures are entwined with the "uber" rich. And even our "heir" baseball player meets up with a superior woman. That makes for fun story telling and a nice switch in the routine.And our author makes a sincere effort to make us understand the work and ambition it takes to achieve athletic goals and to find productive real love and a positive future beyond their careers. I also like the emphasis on charity and giving back. Good moral codes but with real people with real flaws and logical youthful behavior for the newly wealthy and the wish/need to be useful citizens. (Kind of jumbled here, but you get the picture.)The stories are great. The only character who irritated me was Cara and her problems pulling herself together. The author took too long getting her through them and they became kind of fuzzy, and I became kind of impatient. But all's well that ends well, and never did I consider putting the story down or skipping.If you like good stories, with good character development and of course, growth of person, you are in for some excellent reading.

This series of books was well written. There was good character development and I found myself either identifying with or sympathizing with the main characters. I found the stories absorbing and difficult to stop reading. I am not a baseball fan, but these books give you an inside view of baseball without going overboard, so if you are not a baseball fan, you will not be put off by tons of baseball content. Each of the four books in this set can be read as a stand alone full length novel which I greatly appreciate. The books do tie in together as relationships from earlier books are brought into play in each succeeding book, but this is skillfully done so that you do not feel like you had to read the previous books to follow the story in the book you are reading. The books are self published but appear to be as well edited as any book coming from a major publisher. I don't recall any obvious typos, continuity issues or grammar errors.I will be buying more of this author's books.

Game for Romance Books 1-4 is part of the Tavonesi series. These are romance books related in some way to the Tavonesi family. The main theme is baseball with some social issues thrown in. Typical romances with steamy sex and no violence, they can be read as stand alone books although characters from other books creep in. I was not too hot on all the baseball stuff but I would recommend them as good stories.

I bought book 1 & loved it so much I bought the box set 1-4 which I just finished!! It such a great series! I can't put it down! What's not to love..we have romance with a little sex here & there..we have high stakes intrigue & BASEBALL!! I'm on to book 5 now!!

All four of the books in this box set are amazing to read. They all have their ups and downs along with secrets that seem to lead in the wrong direction. It's reading about each different one and how they managed to work things out.

I really love this author. I am reading the first four books on my Kindle. Pamela is very talented and weaves interesting plots.

These books bring new careers, lifestyles and choices into view through the many romances and career bumps that happen with the characters. Quick and fun to read, each story encourages you to get the next one for more hours of entertainment.

Excellent writing. The first series that kept me involved for three days. I would recommend this book to anyone who love s to read!
