I have always been a big fan of Bel Ami but never wanted to spend $80 for a coffee table book. When I saw the $15 price tag I was so excited. It's a gorgeous book not only the scenery but the boys and the photographs themselves are simply gorgeous. Everything in this book is perfect. It makes me want to go on vacation and just relax at a pool somewhere. From a coffee table book/art lover side it's a great book and private room decoration to look at on rainy days.. From the erotic book side... save your money. There are about 30 pictures of actual nudes and half of them are cropped off by the bottom of the page, hidden in shadow, or cut off by a strategically giant leaf. There is nothing R-rated everything is very cute moments of kissing and hand holding, felt more like a book of foreplay at times, somewhere on their site there is probably what happened after the pictures in this book, lol.But in short beautiful book filled with beautiful boys in a beautiful place.

This is a book filled with absolutely GORGEOUS photography of drop-dead beautiful young men in various stages of undress. Roffman captures a delightful combination of allure, sensuality, capriciousness, innocence and passion. The lighting is perfect, the angles interesting and creative, the themes ultimately and unabashedly masculine.So why are so many of these photos spread across two pages, with the models right on the crease? Roffman's work is often cut in half by poor layout choices, and the viewer is forced to threaten the integrity of the book's spine to see the whole image. For a $70+ book, they could have sprung for a few fold-outs instead of cheapening the end product this way.

Wow, what a book! The photography and models are stunning and make me feel like I'm right there with them...which of course I wish were the case. However, it's good material for later pleasures.... For the price, this book can't be beat for quality craftsmanship and the care and attention that went into producing it so it can sit as a showpiece on my coffee table when people for whom it's appropriate come over.

So beautiful. This book is over and beyond expectations. The quality is amazing! I LOVE IT!

Ah ... Bali! Where it seems most Australians spend their leisure time these days. Never had the good fortune of making the trip there myself but if I could be guaranteed of finding some of these scrumptious Bel Ami boys waiting for me, I'd be on the next flight! This is another lovely Howard Roffman full color photo book with the usual stunning images starring a beautiful cast of players. An added bonus is the obvious beauty of Bali which Roffman has included with some extra nice shots of native flora and fauna. And let's face it, with the tropical beauty of the island as a background and the sheer joy, charm and sexuality of the Bel Ami boys in the foreground, where could you go wrong Mr. Roffman? Nice to even see a few shots of the boys out surfing with clothes on. But for most of this book they are totally naked and enjoying all the freedoms of youth. More of a romantic travelogue than an erotic one, although I'm not sure there is a difference when it comes to Bel Ami. Also comes with an informative introduction by the author with cute snapshots of the boys taking in the sights.
